WHAT HAPPENED?

THE BIGGER PICTURE
Wiley is one of a number of young talents to join Chelsea thus far this summer. Enzo Maresca has already overseen the acquisitions of Aston Villa's Omari Kellyman and Barcelona starlet Marc Guiu.

DID YOU KNOW?
It concludes a fine summer of business for the MLS side, who have now sold Thiago Almada, Giorgos Giakoumakis and Wiley for a combined total of over $40m. They currently sit in 10th place – outside of the playoff picture – but level on points with ninth-placed FC Toronto, and a game in hand over the Canadian side.

Wiley's focus now turns to the Paris Olympics, where he figures to be a starter for Marko Mitrovic's side. After that, he will complete his loan move to Strasbourg – who finished 13th in Ligue 1 last year.
